MAYMAY ENTRATA AT EDWARD BARBER
“SOULMATES kami!” Yan ang paglalarawan ni Edward Barber sa status ng relasyon nila ni Maymay Entrata.
Sa ginanap na media day para sa latest offering ng Star Cinema at Ten17 Productions, ang “First Love” directed by Paul Soriano showing on Oct. 17, sinabi ni Edward na malalim na ang pagsasama nila ni Maymay ngayon bilang magka-loveteam.
Natanong ang binatilyo kung first love ba niya si Maymay, hindi niya ito diretsong sinagot, “My relationship with Maymay is something I cannot really compare to any other pair I have ever seen before. I can’t compare it to my parents. I can’t compare it to my friends and their girlfriends.”
Pinalakpakan naman si Edward ng MayWard fans na nasa presscon ng “First Love” nang ilarawan niya ang ka-loveteam, “Maymay is not really a normal person.
“That’s not a bad thing, that’s why she’s more amazing than most of the girls I know so it’s not a bad thing. That’s what makes her amazing. She’s one of the people I love most of my life.”
Samantala, naikuwento rin ni Edward kung paano siya sinuportahan ni Maymay sa bago niyang pelikula kahit hindi sila magkasama, ito nga ang “First Love” kung saan nakatrabaho niya sina Albie Casino, Bea Alonzo at Aga Muhlach.
“All I can say about the movie is so far, I felt so comfortable not really because of my own skills but because of Direk Paul Kuya Aga and Ate Bea, the whole cast as well. I have nothing but gratitude for this movie,” sey ni Edward.
Dugtong pa niya, “I’m really a new actor. I’ve been only been in showbiz a year now and to get this chance is an amazing opportunity. I don’t want to look at them right now ‘coz I might tear up.”
At dahil ito ang first movie project niya without Maymay, “Honestly it was an amazing opportunity and I was excited to do it. Maymay came up to me and said, ‘Kayang-kaya mo ‘yun. I know you can do it, this is your chance to do it.'”
“When I was in Canada, we were in Vancouver, Maymay sent me like a video message and she said, ‘Watch this only if you’re freakin’ out. If you don’t freak out, don’t watch it.’ There were scenes I freaked out so much, but she was there every step of the way with me,” pahayag pa ng aktor.
Showing na ang “First Love” sa Oct. 17, sa direksyon ni Paul Soriano. Incidentally, Oct. 17 din ang birthday nina Bea at Direk Paul kaya ang wish nila, sana raw ay suportahan ng madlang pipol ang kanilang movie.
