4,854 na, lagas sa war on drugs

4,854 na, lagas sa war on drugs

UMABOT na sa 4,854 ang napapatay sa kampanya ng gobyerno kontra droga, kung saan mahigit 400 suspek sa droga ang nasawi sa lehitimong operasyon, ayon sa pinakahuling survey ng Real Numbers PH.

Ayon sa ulat ng mula sa mga tagapagsalita mula sa Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), at Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), umabot na ang kabuuang napapatay ng mga otoridad mula Hulyo 1, 2016 hanggang Agosto 31, 2018 sa 4,854.

Ito ay mas mataas ng 444 kumpara sa 4,410 noong Hulyo 31.

Bukod pa rito, umabot naman 155,193 suspek ang naaresto sa mga operasyon, 247 dito ang mga halal na opisyal, 271 ay mga empleyado ng gobyerno at 58 ay mga uniformed personnel.

Inamin ni PNP Spokesperson Chief Supt. Benigno Durana at PDEA Spokesperson Derrick Carreon na malaki pa ang problema ng gobyerno sa droga.

“We’ll take off from the president’s statements that the war on drugs is far from over,” sabi niya.
