As it is known to many, sina Jim, Leah at Agot ay mga kilalang kritiko ng Duterte administration either through her protest actions or on social media, or both. Kung sa pagpapahayag ng kanilang disgusto with the way government affairs are (mis)dealt with ay odd man out si DD.

Not once—if we’re not mistaken—has the actor expressed his sentiments—positive or otherwise—patungkol sa gobyerno.

Their commonality though ay ang ‘di paglantad pa sa publiko para kumpirmahing yes, they’re ready to slug it out anu’t anuman ang kahinatnan ng kanilang ambisyon.

Depending on which side of the political fence, hindi maiaalis kaninuman ang karapatang may masasabi tungkol sa kanilang pagkandidato (COC filing begins on Oct.11 until the 17th).

But something good is gleaned from this. Bilang isang demokratikong bansa where freedom of responsible expression is upheld, sige, maglabu-labu tayo. Let’s stick—not to the personalities—but rather to the basic and important issues that need to be addressed.

Sana lang, sa pagtakbo ng mga binanggit naming opposition bets, people will see a beacon of hope that the onus becomes lighter. Solutions to all these economic struggles seem few and far between dahil sa pokus sa pulitika.

Kung sakaling maluklok, ano kaya ang mga maisasabatas nina Jim, Leah, Agot at DD kung saan maisasantabi muna ang walang puknat na paninisi sa lideratong nais nilang baguhin?

Of the four, may personal kaming gustong subukan beyond their talents na nagpasikat sa kanila sa showbiz. Hindi ang kinabibilangan nilang partido ang aming tinitingnan, it’s about time we crushed party-based preferences kundi kilatisin ang mismong kandidato even he or she shares the same vision of his/her group.
