Kaladkaren pinagbawalang pumasok sa resto: Bawal daw ang bakla!
KaladKaren Davila posted a short video of her conversation with a Makati resto bouncer na nagsabing bawal ang bakla sa kanilang establishment.
“BAWAL ANG BAKLA: Last night, my friends and I were denied entry to H&J Sports Bar and Restaurant in Poblacion, Makati dahil bawal raw po pumasok ang mga BAKLA. HINDI dahil sa DRESS CODE or whatever, pero dahil BAKLA po kami. Totoo ba, dear??? 2018 na! #MayPinalayas,” caption ni KaladKaren sa video.
“#LGBT members and Allies, mga sis, this is one of the many reasons why we need protection! Tama ba ito? #MayPinaglalaban #Respect #SOGIE,” dagdag pa niya.
Of course, marami ang nag-react. Violently, that is.
“Mami is there a longer video? May other explanation pa ba si kuya bouncer? Cuz grabe yung discrimination emanating from kuya mismo. Other than online mileage baka may legal basis for a case. Ramdam ko yung pagtataboy (sana tama yung term) sa video! Frustrating indeed.”
“That is downright discrimination. Ano pala problema nila sa bakla? We all have equal rights regardless of gender preference.”
“Guys I hope you called the manager cause I think this bouncer was just a homophobe and felt like calling the shots that night. You were right, madaming bakla sa H&J.”
May nabasa kaming pinagbawalan ang mga ladyboys sa nasabing resto dahil meron na-involve sa pagnanakaw diumano sa ilang foreign clients nila.
If that’s the case, sana hindi nilahat. Kung may CCTV sa lugar, they could have jailed the culprits hindi ‘yung nilahat na nila ang mga bakla.
