WATCHED the pilot episode of Ngayon At Kailanman and we were amazed at how the fast-paced teleserye evolved.

Mabilis ang pacing at ang nakakatuwa pa ay ang ganda ng shots. The soap opera showed beautiful sceneries lalo na doon sa aerial shots sa dagat.

Sa pilot episode ay nagmarka ang character ni Ms. Rosemarie Gil. Her first scene was during a wake of her husband played by Dante Rivero. Dumating ang kanyang anak na si TJ Trinidad and when the camera panned on her face, Rosemarie, without a dialogue, showed mix emotions.

Without even trying to ay nanglalamon ang kanyang acting.

Iza Calzado as the dyowa of TJ also shone in the pilot episode especially when she learned that TJ is already dead. Pinalayas siya sa burol sa bahay ni TJ and she was wailing like any namatayan would. Ang galing niya habang sigaw siya nang sigaw ng pangalan ng character ni TJ.

Last night, lumitaw na ang Eva at Inno characters nina Julia Barretto at Joshua Garcia kaya naman exciting ang mga ganap.

Anyway, wagi sa rating ang pilot episode ng Ngayon At Kailanman as it gathered 31.2%.

Ronnie Henares and Jojit Paredes revealed that they got together last year and recalled how successful the US reunion of “Twofus” was.

“It was heartwarming seeing familiar faces that we haven’t seen in ages plus fans from our youth that packed the afternoon matinee and evening shows, and how much fun we had performing for them and watching them participate in the show,” says Ronnie who suggested that he and Jojit reunite in Manila with their artist friends and the Manila crowd that loves 70’s music.

“These days we need a dose of yesteryears when love songs were tender, lengthy laugh trips were highly contagious and dancing expressed the soul’s joy and rhythm, more importantly when friendships lasted lifetimes,” adds Ronnie wistfully.

Ronnie Henares and Jojit Paredes will prove just that in their reunion concert on Sept. 1, 2018, 8 p.m. at The Theatre at Solaire Resort and Casino. “Music lovers are going to love this concert,” Ronnie and Jojit or the “Twofus”, say in chorus.

Joining them are music icons Jim Paredes and Boboy Garrovillo of the APO Hiking Society, Mitch Valdes, and the 70’s top dancing duo, the Aldeguer Sisters.

“Twofus…Reunion of Friends” is directed and written by Floy Quintos with Roy del Valle as musical director, Christian Henares as art director, the team of Sisa Hernandez Kalson for production, Francis Libiran for the wardrobe.
