First 4 official entries para sa MMFF 2018 inilabas na; Vic-Coco magpapatawa at magbibigay action
Na-irelease na ang unang apat na pelikulang pasok sa darating na Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 sa darating na Pasko.
Sa ginanap na reveal, dalawang comedy, isang horror, at isang romance ang pasado.
Una sa listahan ang horror/thriller na Aurora na pagbibidahan ni Anne Curtis directed by Yam Laranas sa ilalim ng Viva Films.
Pasok din ang pelikula ng Unkaboggable Star na si Vice Ganda at makakasama nya pa dito ang fresh na fresh na mga millenials na sina Maymay Entrata, Maris Racal at Loisa Andalio na isa namang fantasy/comedy entitled Fantastica: The Princess, The Prince and The Perya sa ilalim ng ABS-CBN Productions at Viva Films. Ito ay sa direksyon ni Barry Gonzales.
Sa romance naman, sina Kim Chiu, Jessy Mendiola, Jerico Rosales, Sam Milby, Tom Rodriguez at Keith Thompsom naman ang mga bibida sa Girl in the Orange Dress sa sanib pwersang production ng Quantum Films at MJM Productions, directed by Jay Abello.
Hatid naman ng tandem ni Vic Sotto at Coco Martin ang isa pang magpapatawa sa MMFF 2018. Magsasama ang dalawa sa action/comedy na Popoy En Jack: The Pulis Credibles sa ilalim ng CCM Film Prod, MZET Prod at APT Entertainment. Ito ay ididirek ni Rodel Nacianceno.
Samantala, ang natitirang apat naman ay pipiliin sa mga finish films na may deadline na hanggang September 21 habang ang mga scripts para sa short film category ay dapat maisumite bago mag-August 31.
