NILIWANAG ni Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) founder Jose Ma. Sison na hindi pa tinatapos ng komunistang grupo ang usapang pangkapayapaan sa gobyerno.
“Only the National Council of the NDFP [National Democratic Front of the Philippines] can make the decision to suspend, cancel or terminate the peace negotiations with GR and has not yet made such a decision,” sabi ni Sison.
Nauna nang sinabi ni Sison na hindi na makikipagnegosasyon ang National Democratic Front (NDF) sa gobyerno,
“Based on the implications drawn from the current impasse, the NDFP can no longer negotiate with a government that is headed by Duterte,” sabi ni Sison.
Idinagdag ni Sison na magpopokus na lamang ang CPP sa mga pagkilos para mapatalsik si Pangulong Duterte sa puwesto.
Nauna nang nakatakdang muling magbukas ang usapang pangkapayapaan sa pagitan ng gobyerno at ng NDF noong Hunyo 28, bagamant kinansela ito ni Duterte, para bigyan daan ang konsultasyon sa buong bansa.
