- June 10, 2018 - 04:19 PM

KINUMPIRMA ni Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher “Bong” Go ang pagla-landing ng Chinese military aircraft sa Davao City.

“The request for landing was received, processed and cleared by relevant Philippine Government agencies,” sabi ni Go sa isang pahayag.

“The landing was requested for the specific purpose of refuelling and was granted and given with specific conditions for compliance by the requesting party,” dagdag ni Go.

“Technical stops by foreign government and commercial planes, including for refuelling purposes, are closely coordinated by our relevant Government agencies following established domestic procedure and in consideration of existing agreements,” giit ni Go.

“Same courtesy is extended to Philippine Government aircrafts when technical stops need to be undertaken,” ayon pa kay Go.

“The DND, DFA and CAAP – and other relevant agencies – work together to ensure that requesting parties comply with our domestic procedures and requirements,” ayon pa kay Go.
