PUV driver nganga pa rin sa pantawid pasada program
HINDI pa rin naipatutupad ang Pantawid Pasada Program ng gobyerno upang tulungan ang mga driver ng pampasaherong sasakyan na maaapektuhan ng Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion.
Sa pagdinig ng House committee on ways and means kaugnay ng TRAIN 2, sinabi ni Transportation Usec. Thomas Orbos na nahihirapan ang DoTr na bumuo ng database ng mga tutulungang driver.
“We are still securing the drivers database from stakeholders themselves,” ani Orbos.
Sinabi ni Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board chairman Martin Delgra na target na matulungan ng programa ng P400,000 hanggang P500,000 driver.
“We are also trying to generate drivers database through drivers academy program of the LTFRB that we have started last year and we are still doing it until now,” ani Delgra.
Ayon naman kay Finance Usec. Karl Kendric Chua may nakalaang P900 milyong budget para sa programa at mayroong hanggang sa katapusan ng taon para magamit ang pondo.
“I think there’s about P900 million that is valid up to December 2018. If they dont use it, according to DBM cash based na, so mawawala. So they have to speed up the implementation,” ani Chua.
