SA mga umiidolo kina Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant at James Harden, may pagkakataon na kayong maipakita ang angking husay sa long-distance shooting sa pag-arangkada ng “King of Threes.”
Ang “King of Threes” ay isang 3-point shootout tournament na mag-uumpisa alas-4 ng hapon sa Mayo 19 sa Taft Food By The Court, Pasay City.
Bukas ito sa lahat ng mga nais sumali at tatagal ito ng isang taon. Magkakaroon ito ng monthly finals na kung saan ang mga mananalo ay maghaharap-harap sa Grand Finals sa 2019.
Ang individual champion ay tatanggap ng P100,000 premyo habang ang team champion ay mag-uuwi ng P200,000.
Ang King of Threes, na inorganisa ng Subic Bay Development and Industrial Estate Corporation (Sudeco), ay may basbas ng Games & Amusements Board (GAB).
Ang naturang resolusyon para sa superbisyon at regulasyon ng shootout na ito ay inaprubahan nina GAB chairman Abraham Kahlil “Baham” Mitra at mga commissioner na sina Eduard Trinidad at Mar Masanguid.
“This resolution would now allow the professional conduct of three-point shootout competition in the Philippines – this is the first in Asia,” sabi ni Mitra. “GAB not only legitimizes the contest as one of its duly recognized professional sports in the country but also lends support to the protection of the sport’s athletes and its organizers.”
