Palasyo nababahala sa pagpapakalat ng missile ng China

SINABI ng Palasyo na nababahala ang pamahalaan matapos ang ulat na nagpakalat ang China ng mga missile sa mga pinag-aagawang lugar sa West Philippine Sea.

“We are concerned with the reported China’s missile deployments over the contested areas in the West Philippine Sea,” sabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.

Ito’y matapos ang ulat na naglagay ang China ng mga anti-ship cruise missile at surface-to-air missile system sa tatlong reef sa West Philippine Sea na pag-aari ng Pilipinas, kabilang na ang Panganiban Reef, Zamora Reef at Kagitingan Reef.

“With our recently developed close relationship and friendship with China, we are confident that those missiles are not directed at us,” dagdag ni Roque.

Nauna nang ipinagmalaki ng administrasyon ang matatag na relasyon ng Pilipinas at China kung saan makailang beses nang bumisita si Pangulong Duterte sa naturang bansa.

“Be that as it may, we would explore all diplomatic means to address this issue,” sabi pa ni Roque.
