Grab may overcharging, kailangang mag-refund-solon

May sobrang singil umano na P1.8 bilyon ang Transport Network Service provider na Grab sa mga kostumer nito.     Ayon kay PBA Rep. Jericho Nograles ang Grab ay naniningil ng P2 kada minutong travel period na taliwas sa deklarasyon nito na wala itong per minute charging.     Bukod pa ito sa P40 flag down rate at P10-P14 singil kada kilometro.     “Grab charges P2 per minute illegally. They’re not allowed to charge P2 per minute. The LTFRB has not allowed them to charge P2 per minute but they have charged P2 per minute to everyone,” ani Nograles.     Sa nakalipas na limang buwan, umaabot na umano sa P1.8 bilyon ang sobrang siningil ng Grab sa mga kustomer kaya pinakikilos ni Nograles Land Transportation and Regulatory Board para makapagpatupad ng refund.     Hindi aprubado ng LTFRB ang dagdag na P2 kada minuto ng biyahe ng Grab.     Sa isang resibo ng Grab na ipinakita ni Nograles nakalagay ang P55 singil para sa 27.5 minutong biyahe.     Tutol din si Nograles sa merger ng Grab at Uber na isa umanong paglabag sa Philippine Competition Act.       “Ano ang ibig, sabihin niyan? (That’s) monopoly,” dagdag pa ng solon.
