Napoles inilagay sa provisional WPP coverage
ISINAILALIM ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang tinaguriang reyna ng pork barrel scam na si Janet Lim-Napoles sa witness protection program (WPP) matapos kunin bilang testigo ng gobyerno.
Kinumpirma ni Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II na inilagay si Napoles sa provisional coverage ng WPP.
Sinabi ni Aguirre na isang affidavit ang pinirmahan ni Napoles kung saan idinetalye niya ang maanomalyang paggamit ng Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF).
“We confirm that Janet L. Napoles has been placed under Provisional Admission of WPP subject to affidavit she submitted which is now undergoing assessment,” sabi ni Aguirre.
Nauna nang kinasuhan si Napoles ng plunder kaugnay ng P10 bilyong pork barrel scam.
“As of the moment, physically she is not under WPP due to provisional status of admission. If requested by subject we can provide additional security and as warranted, address medical needs,” ayon pa kay Aguirre.
