Consignee ng P6.4 bilyong shabu shipment naaresto ng NBI sa Iloilo

NAARESTO ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang consignee ng P6.4 bilyong shabu shipment na nanggaling sa  China.

Sinabi ni NBI Public Information Officer Nick Suarez na dadalhin si Eirene Mae Tatad sa NBI Headquarters sa Maynila matapos siyang mahuli sa Iloilo.

Si Tatad ay may-ari ng EMT Trading, na kabilang sa ipinaaaresto ng Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 46 kaugnay ng pagpasok ng P6.4 bilyong shabu na nakalusot sa Bureau of Customs (BOC).

Bukod kay Tatad, kabilang sa ipinahuhuli ng korte ay ang Customs fixer na si Mark Taguba, na nauna nang sumuko, Li Guang Feng alyas Manny Li, Dong Yi Shen Xi alyas Kenneth Dong, Teejan Marcellana, Chen I-Min, Jhu Ming Jhyun, at Chen Rong Juan.
