Commissioner de Vera itinalaga ni DU30 bilang OIC ng CHED
ITINALAGA ni Pangulong Duterte si Commissioner Prospero de Vera bilang officer-in-charge (OIC) ng Commission on Higher Education (CHED) matapos naman ang pagbibitiw ni dating chairperson Patricia Licuanan matapos akusahan ng junket.
“Upon the instruction of President Rodrigo Duterte, and to ensure the continuous and effective delivery of public service, please be informed that you are hereby designated as Officer-in-Charge of the Commission on Higher Education, effective immediately,” ayon kay Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.
Pinirmahan ni Medialdea ang appointment ni de Vera noong Enero 24, 2018.
Matatandaang nagbitiw si Licuanan matapos namang tawagan ni Medialdea na kusa nang magbitiw sa puwesto.
Inakusahan si Licuanan nang pagbibiyahe sa ibang bansa ng walang otorisasyon mula sa Malacanang.
Nakatakda sanang magretiro si Licuanan sa Hulyo 2018.
