SINABI ng Palasyo na nais ni Pangulong Duterte na itaas ang sweldo ng mga guro kasunod ng umento sa sahod ng mga sundalo at pulis.
Sa isang briefing, idinagdag ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na inatasan na ni Duterte ang mga kaukulang ahensiya para maghanap ng pondo na pagkukunan para sa pagtataas ng sweldo ng mga guro.
“The President also stated that with the second tax reform package, he has instructed DBM and all other agencies to find means to increase the salary of teachers after the initial doubling of salaries for the AFP and the police. So the teachers will be next,” ayon pa kay Roque.
Epektibo ngayong taon ang dobleng sahod para sa mga sundalo at pulis matapos ipangako ni Duterte.
“Judjing by what he wanted for the PNP and the AFP, it could be that he is also aiming to double the entry salary for teachers,” sabi pa ni Roque.
