TEARS nearly cascaded upon Jasmine Curtis-Smith’s face when she was asked about being anorexic.

Naging emotional ang bida ng “Siargao” nang mapunta ang usapan sa anorexia. Marami kasi ang nakapansin ng kanyang kapayatan and most netizen thought she’s anorexic.

“Do you know what anorexia is? Do you know how serious of a condition that is calling someone anorexic? Do you know the impact of what you’re saying to the person receiving it kasi may mga taong hindi ganoon kalakas ang loob pero nagtatrabaho pa rin kasi gusto nila ang trabaho nila.

“I’ve never been humiliated by my weight, shamed by my weight. Why? Hindi kayo happy na payat ako? And so what, ‘di ba?” she said in one recent interview.

“Napanood ko yung vid from start to end, di ko masyado gets where she is coming from. Ako nagpapayat din and yes I received comments from relatives and friends na mejo too skinny pero yun kasi ang goal ko kaya yung comments wala lang.

“If ginusto nya yang weight na yan then she could simply say na this is my goal..period. If she is someone na gusto pumayat/tumaba and nag effort pero no effect tapos u get nega comments then yun yung hurtful talaga. Or maybe she is still too young and insecure?” commented one netizen in one popular website.

Young and insecure ka d’yan. What Jasmine was sad about is people is passing judgment on her just because she’s payat. ‘Yun lang!!!
