Matteo bilib sa powers ni Duterte: I think he’s doing a great job!

NANINIWALA si Matteo Guidicelli na ginagawa ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang lahat para mapabuti ang buhay ng bawat Pinoy sa bansa.

Sa panayam ng #ShowbizLive (napapanood at napapakinggan sa Radyo Inquirer 990 at sa ABS-CBN TV Plus tuwing Miyekules, 8 p.m.) sa singer-actor, nausisa sa segment na “Quickie Talk” kung ano ang unang itatanong niya kay Pangulong Duterte kapag nagkita sila.

Napabuntong-hininga muna ang binata bago sumagot. Aniya, “Mr. President, okay. Listen to me. I’m proud Visaya and proudly Filipino. When I studied in the States for a while I was always representing I’m a Filipino and I hope people won’t forget where their roots are from. And I think president Duterte is doing a great job.”

Dugtong pa niya, “Yeah there’s so many negativity about him but there’s always gonna be negativity. At the end of the day, he isn’t just working for us, he’s working for our kids’ kids. For the future and I think this is a start.

“The Filipino’s have been given so many chance in the world before. We are our own reasons why we always make kasalanan. For example sa Subic, Subic was so nice already, and when the American’s came in and then Mr. (Richard) Gordon took good care of it. Now Subic is not like before. So, discipline is really needed. And I hope slowly this will happen. Not in 10 years time, hopefully it will. Kung pwede nga bukas but I don’t think it’s possible.

“All this extrajudicial killings and stuff, yeah I know there are issues and everything, but they don’t know what’s going on in the country. And I really think that drugs is a really big part of the destruction of our country. I’ve seen it with some of my friends. They destroyed my friends.

“I’m one of the biggest anti-drug advocate in the world and you know I have so many friends who fell on that but there are a lot of things you can use to climb back up. There’s music, there’s family.

“For me ha. Like for example in showbiz the more you put somebody down, that person will be down that’s why you just have to give him positive vibes. That’s what I think. At the end of the day that’s all good for us. Does that make sense?” seryosong pahayag ni Matteo.

Samantala, muling pinatunayan ni Sarah Geronimo ang kanyang 100% support sa kanyang boyfriend nang magpunta siya at manood ng “Hey Matteo” concert ng singer-actor sa KIA Theater last weekend.

Pinakilig muli ng dalawa ang audience nang ibandera ni Matteo ang pagmamahal niya sa Pop Princess.

Sa isang bahagi ng concert kung nakasama ni Matteo ang Concert King na si Martin Nievera, buong ningning na sinabi ng binata na, “My Sarah’s never gonna leave me.”

Tilian at palakpakan ang audience. Nag-dialogue naman si Martin ng, “Let me tell you about your Sarah. A lot of people don’t know this but every show that he’s done, I think this is one of the first where she actually came out.

“You know why she does this? Because she wants Matteo to shine all by himself. That deserves a round of applause. Now that she’s here, no que sera seras,” ang sey pa ni Martin.
