MMDA irerekomenda ang suspensyon ng lisensiya ni Maria Isabel Lopez
NAKATAKDANG irekomenda ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) na suspendihin ang lisensiya ng aktres na si Maria Isabel Lopez matapos na tanggalin ang mga plastic barrier at dumaan sa lane na inilaan para sa mga delegado na dadalo sa Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) summit.
Sinabi ni MMDA spokesperson Celine Pialago na isang “serious breach of security” ang ginawa ni Lopez.
“MMDA and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) will now recommend to the Land Transportation Office the suspension or cancellation of Maria Isabel Lopez’s license,” sabi ni Pialago.
Ito’y matapos ipagmalaki pa ni Lopez sa kanyang Facebook account na nagpanggap siyang delegado sa Asean nang dumaan sa southbound lane ng Edsa at binuksan ang hazard light ng kanyang kotse.
“MMDA thinks I’m an official Asean delegate! If [you] can’t beat [them], join them!” sabi ni Lopez sa kanyang post na kung saan makikita pa ang dalawang video habang lumulusot sa napakatinding.
Gumamit pa si Lopez ng hashtag na #nosticker, #leadership, #belikemaria at #pasaway.
