PLDT magbabalik sa Philippine V-League

MAGBABALIK ngayong taon ang koponan ng PLDT sa Philippine V-League, dating Shakey’s V-League, matapos ang isang taon na pahinga.

Sinabi ni Roger Gorayeb, ang coach ng Ultra Fast Hitters coach, na isinasaayos ng pamunuan ang ilan na lamang na mga kailangang kumpletuhing usapin bago opisyal na ihayag ang kanilang pagbabalik bago isagawa ang Season 14 ng PVL na Reinforced Conference sa Marso.

“Yes, it points towards that direction, which is returning to the V-League,” sabi ni Gorayeb.

Agad na kinilala ni Gorayeb ang makakasamang manlalaro na sina Suzanne Roces, Rysabelle Devanadera, Tata Pantone, Louanna Latigay, Ella de Jesus at Jem Ferrer sa koponan habang plano nitong muling kunin ang serbisyo ni Alyssa Valdez, na kasalukuyang naglalaro para sa koponan ng 3BB Nokhornout sa Thailand League.

Sa paghawak ni Gorayeb at pamumuno ni Valdez, nanguna ang PLDT sa Season 12 Open at Reinforced Conferences dalawang taon na ang nakakaraan bago nagpahinga sa buong Season 13.

“Of course, we want Alyssa (Valdez) but it will be up to the PLDT management,” sabi ni Gorayeb.

Nais din ni Gorayeb na maisama ang ilang manlalaro mula sa National University at San Sebastian College na mga koponan na kanyang hinahawakan sa UAAP at NCAA.

Ilan sa mga collegiate players na nais nitong makasama sa koponan sina Jorelle Singh, Aiko Urdas, Jasmine Nabor at kung posible si Jaja Santiago ng NU pati na sina Grethcel Soltones at Alyssa Eroa ng San Sebastian.
