MISS Universe Philippines Maxine Medina is being bashed because of her poor command of the King’s language.

This prompted Liza Dino Seguerra to react.

“Focus on her strength.

This was met with mixed reaction from the readers of a popular website.

She can’t comprehend talaga kahit simple and basic questions pa,” say ng isang fan.

“Tama.

“I really really want to support Maxine all the way but it’s not just about her english. It’s the substance that’s missing. Poor maxine…her only fault is that she won Bb. Pilipinas,” said one fan.

What’s our take on the issue? Well, if Maxine can really express herself in a manner that is understandable by the judges and if she can infuse some wit on her answer, we think that she could rise above that challenge.
