Martial law hindi idedeklara ni Du30-FVR

Hindi nakikita ni dating Pangulong Fidel Ramos na magdedeklara ng Martial Law si Pangulong Duterte.
Ayon kay Ramos, isa sa pinakamalaking pangalan sa makasaysayang EDSA People Power 1, wala siyang nararamdamang indikasyon na babalik sa ilalim ng Batas Militar ang bansa.
“No……you must understand Martial law has already been thrown away by our people and… you might call it enlightened rejection, rejection of Martial law is People Power,” ani Ramos na bumisita sa Meet Inquirer Multi Media kanina (Martes). “Let us remember that we had two successful peoples power revolution.”
Mistulang pinasaringan naman ni Ramos si dating Pangulong Joseph Estrada, ngayon ay mayor ng Maynila, dahil hindi umano totoo na mayroon Peoples Power 3.
“There is no such thing as EDSA 3 during the time of President Estrada as he claimed because that was not a People Power.”
Kung mayroon umanong magbabalak na magdeklara ng Martial Law dapat ay konsultahin muna silang mga ‘old timers’.
“And so if there is any Martial Law forthcoming, although I don’t see it, they must first consult the old timers besides we now have a new Martial Law law requiring the president to report to Congress as soon as possible… its not like in the 1935 Constitution.”
Naniniwala naman ang mga miyembro ng minorya sa Kamara de Representantes na sinusubukan ng mga kaalyado ni Duterte kung papayag ang mga publiko sa deklarasyong ito kaya kanilang pinalulutang.
“I think he (Panelo) has a blessing with the President, otherwise matagal na yan sinaway na huwag ka ng magsalita ng ganun. Kinokondisyon ang taumbayan, tinestesting nila kung ano taumbayan,” ani Magdalo Rep. Gary Alejano.
