“While this is a good development, we will continue push for the immediate approval and enactment of the P2000 SSS pension increase bill. This will ensure that the full P2000 pension hike will be given across the board simultaneously to all SSS pensioners, without the imposition of a corresponding increase in the payment of SSS premium,” ani Zarate. “Our bill will also ensure that the current minimum pension increases, so future pensioners will also benefit. We do not want the increase to be staggered or incremental because the SSS pensioners need all the help they can get; in fact, even the P2000 increase is still small for their everyday needs.”      Sa Nobyembre 15 ay nakatakdang aprubahan ng House Committee on Government Enterprises and Privatization ang panukalang dagdag na P2,000 pensyon.
