De Lima tinawag na ‘sham’ ang committee report ng Kamara
TINAWAG ni Sen. Leila de Lima na pawang kasinungalingan ang nilalalaman ng committee report na ipinalabas ng House justice committee na nagsagawa ng imbestigasyon kaugnay ng kanyang pagkakasangkot umano sa iligal na droga sa New Bilibid Prison (NBP) ng siya ang kalihim pa ng Department of Justice (DOJ).
“Meaning, the lies are sufficient? What evidence are they talking about?” sabi ni de Lima matapos sabihin ng komite na sapat ang ebidensiyang nakalap laban sa kanya.
Idinagdag ni de Lima na nagsinungaling ang mga testigong hinarap sa Kamara para siya idiniin.
“And when they say that okay we’re not recommending the prosecution of Senator de Lima, we’re just asking na lang the DOJ to undertake further investigation, that means they are practically telling the DOJ to invent pa more, invent pa more lies,” dagdag ni de Lima.
“If they believe that the evidence are sufficient, then they should recommend for my prosecution so ano yan?” ayon pa kay de Lima.
Ito’y sa harap naman ng pahayag ng komite na ipinauubaya na lamang nito sa Office of the Ombudsman at DOJ ang pagdedetermina kung kakasuhan o hindi si de Lima.
“Now they are saying there is sufficient evidence but they are not recommending prosecution. So that’s ironic, that’s a self contradictory. It’s a sham conclusion,” sabi pa ni de Lima.
