Chot Reyes balik head coach ng Philippine men’s basketball
Nagbabalik bilang head coach ng Philippine men’s basketball team si Chot Reyes.
Ang kanyang muling pag-upo sa naturang posisyon ay inihayag habang nasa isang espesyal na pagpupulong kasama ang Gilas cadets at Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.
Papalitan ni Reyes si Tab Baldwin na siya namang magsisilbing team consultant ng koponan.
“Back in the hotseat. God bless us all,” ani five-time PBA Coach of the Year sa kanyang tweet matapos kumalat ang balita.
Si Reyes, na kamakailan ay itinalagang pangulo at chief executive officer ng TV 5, ang gumabay sa Gilas Pilipinas upang masungkit ang silver medal sa 2013 Fiba Asia Championships na ginanap sa bansa na naghatid sa koponan na muling makatuntong Fiba World Cup noong 2014 matapos ang 36 na taon.
