XIAN LIM AT KIM CHIU

XIAN Lim is one intelligent guy.

For how can one draw his life and make it more engaging by making kuwento what he went through as a kid.

Enjoy na enjoy kami sa kanyang sketch life video which was posted on his YouTube channel.

Why, we’re not surprised that even Kim Chiu couldn’t contain her excitement and admiration sa ganda ng video presentation ni Xian.

“Teary eyed while watching the video.. what a journey @XianLimm. galing!!! galing din ng drawing and edit! youtube: XianLim8.”

“Nakakaiyak na nakaka inspire! super proud of this guy!!! Iba ka!!!” ‘Yan ang magkasunod na tweet ni Kim.

Actually, revelation ang sketch video ni Xian. He narrated, through some sketches that he once lived in a one room apartment na merong palaging pulis na umaali-aligid sa kanilang lugar. There was a time also that he was bullied. Habang kumakain ang mga kapwa niya estudyante sa canteen ay sa comfort room naman siya nag-i-snack. He was being teased for his accent because he has a thick Pinoy accent.

All these happened while he was in the US. He joined track and field and all sorts of sports competition. He was always the last but it was okay.

When he came to the Philippines, nag-aral siya at nag-basketball. Kaya lang since he came from the US, it will take two years para makapaglaro siya.

Exasperated perhaps, Xian thought returning to the US is a better option. But life took another turn when he went to an event to take photos. May isang photographer na nagtanong sa kanya if he wants to join showbiz. The rest, as they say, is history.

We were moved and touched by Xian’s journey. He delivered it with so much aplomb through sketches. Ang galing, sobra. Sana marami ang ma-inspire ni Xian to tell their stories.
