Mocha Uson pinalaking magalang ng mga magulang

YOU are how your parents brought you up.

Without sounding a bit too old-fashioned, kahit sa panahon ngayon when respectful words such as “po” and “opo” seem to have gone out of vogue ay totoong-totoo ang kapaniwalaang nasa wastong pagpapalaki ng mga magulang ang tinataglay o tataglaying katangian ng kanilang supling.

Inappropriate in the sense na hindi naman kasi isang plaza ang naturang comedy bar kundi isang venue where one goes to get entertained, and not to get politically awakened. Kaagad ay nag-post si Mocha ng kanyang buweltang-sagot but starting her piece on a respectful note before sharing her personal anecdotes.

Just as Tita Cristy and I got out of the Reliance Bldg. pagkatapos ng “Cristy Ferminute” nitong Martes, tamang-tama namang papasakay na rin ng kanyang van si Mocha. But before she could hop in ay lumapit siya sa aming kinatatayuan, pakay talaga niyang bumati—and again, with respect—kay Tita Cristy.

Ito ang isang personalidad who knows the intricacies ng propesyon na kanyang pinasok surrounded by people who take sheer notice even of a public figure’s tiny speck on the face.
