SA kauna-unahang pagkakataon sa PBA ay binuksan ng Mahindra ang isang torneyo na may dalawang sunod na panalo.Nagawa ito kagabi ng Mahindra na tinisod ang Globalport, 108-98, sa pagpapatuloy ng PBA Governors’ Cup sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Hindi nakapaglaro para sa Globalport ang star point guard nitong si Terrence Romeo na may stomach flu. Wala rin para sa Batang Pier sina Jay Washington, Rico Maeirhofer, Joseph Yeo at Papot Paredes na pawang may mga injury.
