NAGSANIB-pwersa ang Movie and Television Review and Classification Board at National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, ang operator ng power transmission network ng bansa, para mas patatagin ang kanilang kampanya “in disseminating the grid operator’s advocacy on transmission line safety and protection, and guarding against right-of-way violations.”

Narito ang official statement ng MTRCB tungkol dito: “The partnership was formalized last 16 June through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the agencies, with MTRCB represented by Chairperson, Eugenio H. Villareal, and NGCP represented by Board Director and Chief Administrative Officer, Anthony L. Almeda.

“In the MOU, both companies committed to protect the physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being of the youth and other vulnerable sectors, inculcating patriotism and nationalism, and encouraging their involvement in public and civic affairs, including safety, anti-pilferage and right-of-way of the nationwide transmission assets.

“As NGCP expands its safety and ROW information campaign, it tapped MTRCB to help them reach wider audiences by showing their safety and anti-pilferage public service videos in movie theaters.

“MTRCB, being the entity that supervises and regulates the public exhibition of motion pictures, television programs, and publicity materials, was more than willing to help NGCP by making available relevant expert information and other resources, to enable NGCP to mobilize the dissemination of its line safety campaign material to local theater operators.”
