SUMULAT si outgoing Vice President Jejomar Binay kay Vice President-elect Leni Robredo para siya batiin sa kanyang pagkapanalo
Sa kanyang sulat na may petsang Mayo 31, 2016, sinabi ni Binay na hinihintay niya na makaharap ng personal si Robredo.
“I look forward to personally meeting you. For the past six years, and despite its modest budget, the OVP has extended assistance to thousands of poor and marginalized Filipinos, including our brothers and sisters working abroad,” sabi ni Binay sa kanyang sulat.
Hanggang Hunyo 30, 2016 na lamang ang termino ni Binay.
“I am confident that with you as the next Vice President, the OVP will continue to be an instrument for social justice. Again, my sincerest congratulations,” ayon pa kay Binay.
Idinagdag ni Binay na inatasan na niya si Undersecretary Benjamin Martinez para makipag-ugnayan sa transition team ni Robredo.
Pinamumunuan ni Boyet Dy ang transition ni Robredo. Si Dy ay dating staff ng yumaong mister ni Robredo na si dating Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo.
Noong Miyerkules ng gabi, ipinost ng panganay na anak ni Robredo na si Aika sa kanyang Twitter ang sulat at kanyang mensahe kay Binay.
“Thank you very much for being so gracious, @VPJojoBinay! Your team has been very helpful and accommodating,” sabi ni Aika sa kanyang Twitter account na @aikarobredo).
