2nd Leg ng Triple Crown Series gaganapin ngayon sa Metro Turf

ANG Metro Turf, ang pinakabagong racetrack ng bansa, ang magsisilbing host ng second leg ng taunang Triple Crown Series kung saan siyam na mahuhusay na kabayo ang maglalaban para sa kabuuang premyo na P3 milyon.

May nakalaang top prize na P1.8 milyon ang naturang karerang inilagay sa race 5 ngayon at ang mga opisyal na kalahok ay sina Dewey Boulevard (Hook And Ladder – Aboutthetown) na sasakyan ni Jonathan Hernandez, Guatemala (Kangoo-Western City) – Kelvin Abobo, He He He (Keep Laughing-Cleft) – Louie Balboa, Indianpana (Eugene’s Third Son-Jacy’s Girl) – AP Asuncion, Radio Active (Lim Expensive Toys-Lacquaria) – John Alvin Guce, Underwood (Real Spicy – Kayumanggi) – Jesse Guce, Space Needle (Wando – Playwild) – Jeffril Zarate, Spectrum (Golden Pharaoh-Celestial) – Jeffrey Bacaycay, at Subterranean River (Quaker Ridge-Magic Symbol) – Antonio Alcasid Jr.

Ang karera ay paglalabanan sa mahabang distansiya na 1,800 metro kung saan ang  runner-up ay tatanggap ng P675,000, ang ikatlong puwesto ay mag-uuwi ng P375,000 at ang ikaapat na puwesto ay makakakuha ng P150,000.

Tatangkain ni Radio Active, pag-aari ng SC Stockfarm, na mahablot ang ikalawang sunod na panalo sa Triple Crown Series  na para sa mga   kabayong may edad na tatlong taon.

Si Radio Active ay sasakyan ng regular rider nitong si John Alvin Guce. Ang colt na ito ay naging runaway at  longshot winner sa unang leg.

Ang mga stablemates nitong sina Underwood at Space Needle, na pumangalawa at pumangatlong puwesto sa unang leg ng Triple Crown Series, ang magtatangkang idiskaril ang ambisyon ni Radio Active na makapagtala ng sweep. Sila rin ay inaasahang magsagawa ng panibagong race plan at muling magiging paborito sa karera.
