Duterte nanindigan sa hero’s burial para kay Marcos

NANINDIGAN si presumptive President-elect Rodrigo Duterte sa kanyang desisyon na payagang mailibing si yumaong dating diktador na si Ferdinand E. Marcos sa Libingan ng mga Bayani.
Sa isang press conference, sinabihan din ni Duterte ang mga biktima ng Martial Law na pumunta na lamang sa korte para mapabilis ang pagbibigay ng kompensasyon sa kanila.
Iginiit ni Duterte na karapat-dapat lamang na mailibing si Marcos sa Libingan ng mga Bayani dahil dati siyang sundalo.
“Look, there is the courts. Pumunta kayo ng korte kasi ‘yung taong hinahabol niyo, cadaver na. What do you want more from the guy? Patay na nga… Sabi niyo si Marcos, hindi dapat diyan [ilibing]. That is [on] the question of his abuses. It is something that is attached to his persona forever. Marcos might not really be a hero, I accept that proposition, maybe. But certainly he was a soldier,” sabi ni Duterte.
Sinabi pa ni Duterte na hindi dapat isisi ang kasalanan ni Marcos sa kanyang pamilya.
“The sins of the father, if there are any, should never beset their children,” ayon pa kay Duterte.
Aniya, wala nang makakapagpabago sa kanyang desisyon.
“Alam mo kapag nagbitaw ako ng salita, ‘yun na ‘yun. Magpakamatay na ako diyan. I will do things that I promised to do. I will not die if I do not become President. I will stake my honor, my life, and the presidency itself. Bantayan niyo ang salita ko,” sabi ni Duterte.
