NBI nakumpiska ang P15M halaga ng ‘cookie monster’ ecstacy pills

NAKUMPISKA ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang P15 milyong halaga ng pink at blue “cookie monster” ecstacy pills matapos ang isinagawang raid sa Makati City kagabi.
Naaresto rin sa isinagawang entrapment operation ng NBI-Anti-illegal Drugs Division (NBI-AIDD) ang Dutch national na si Martin De Fong, na siyang nagsusuplay ng ecstacy.
Kinilala si De Fong ng isang informant sa Rogue’s Bar sa Makati bilang supplier ng ecstacy pills sa lugar.
Sinabi ni Atty. Joel Tovera, head ng NBI-AIDD na hindi naman nanlaban si De Fong nang arestuhin at inamin ang kung saan galing ang mga droga.
Kabilang sa mga isinuko niya ay 5,203 ecstacy tablet na ibinibenta ng P2,500 kada isa.
Idinagdag ni Tovera na ibinunyag ni De Fong na inaangkat ang mga ecstacy pills sa The Netherlands, kung saan aabot ng 50,000 piraso ang laman ng kada shipment.

“How often these shipments are depends on how fast they dispose of the previous shipment,” sabi ni Tovera.
Pinangalanan din ni De Fong ang isang Cornelius Meskars, isa ring Dutch national. Nawawala naman si Meskars simula nang siya ay dukutin sa Angeles, Pampanga dalawang buwan na ang nakakaraan.
