Ex-MIAA chief Cusi bagong DOE secretary; dating usec Calida sa SolGen
NAKATAKDANG italaga ni presumptive President-elect Rodrigo Duterte si dating Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) general manager Alfonso Cusi bilang bagong Kalihim ng Department of Energy (DOE).
Kinumpirma ni Atty. Salvador Panelo ang nakatakdang paghirang ni Duterte kay Cusi.
Naging kontrobersiyal si Cusi matapos maugnay sa umano’y dayaan noong 2004 presidential elections kung saan nanalo si dating pangulo at ngayon ay Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
Kilalang malapit si Cusi kay dating First Gentleman Juan Miguel “Mike” Aroyo.
Nagsilbi rin siya bilang general manager ng Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) at Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP.
Sa kasalukuyan, si Cusi ang vice-chair Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban).
Samantala, napili naman si dating Justice undersecretary Jose Calida bilang Solicitor General ni Duterte.
Umupong undersecretary ng DOJ si Calida mula Marso 12, 2001 hanggang Enero 20, 2004 at executive director ng Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) mula Enero 21 hanggang Oktubre 31, 2004.
