INARESTO ang na-dismiss na si dating Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Alan Purisima sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal-3 kahapon ng hapon matapos dumating mula sa Butuan City.
Isinilbi ang warrest of arrest ng PNP-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.
“CIDG personnel carried out arrest, he will be brought to Sandiganbayan from airport,” sabi ni CIDG director Victor Deona.
Noong Huwebes, nagpalabas ang Sandiganbayan ng warrant of arrest laban kay Purisima at 10 iba pa kaugnay ng umano’y kuwestiyonableng kontrata para sa paghahatid ng mga lisensiya ng baril.
Ibinigay ng PNP ang kontrata sa Werfast Documentation Agency Inc.
