(Game 4, best-of-seven championship series)
“We have a 3-0 lead, we have one foot inside the door, but again, it’s happened before and it can happen again,” sabi ni Guiao matapos na magwagi ang Elasto Painters sa Game Three, 112-108, at makubra ang 3-0 lead kontra Alaska noong Miyerkules ng gabi.
“SMB was 0-3 when they won a championship. That’s what’s on our mind. We don’t want to be in that position. We will do all we can to finish this on Friday,” sabi pa ni Guiao.
“We better have some San Miguel so we could make a “beer-acle” happen, I guess,” sabi ni Alaska head coach Alex Compton.
“But honestly, at this point, for me, it’s absolutely about pride. You don’t win, three games or four games on Friday,” dagdag pa ni Compton, na hangad ang koponan ay tumutok muna sa panalo sa Game Four. “And I tell you, maybe I’m old fashioned, maybe I’m wrong but I’m all about every possession, about every aspect of every possession.”
