Jinggoy di pa rin makakalabas ng kulungan; ayaw pa rin pagpiyansahin ng korte

IBINASURA ng Sandiganbayan Fifth Division ang motion for reconsideration ni Sen. Jinggoy Estrada upang payagan siyang magpiyansa sa kasong plunder. Ayon sa korte wala silang makitang bagong argumento sa inihain ni Estrada upang baliktarin ang nauna nitong desisyon. Ibinasura rin ng korte ang mosyon ni Janet Lim Napoles, ang inaakusahang pork barrel fund scam queen dahil sa kawalan ng merito. “There being no new matter sufficiently persuasive to induce a modification of the questioned Resolution, the denial of the pending Motion for Reconsideration is only inevitable,” saad ng 10 pahinang desisyon. Sinabi ng korte na maaaring tignan ang paghahain ng mosyon kahit na walang bagong argumento bilang paraan upang pabagalin ang proseso.  “(A) repetition of arguments or grounds already discussed in prior incidents may properly be categorized as merely for purposes of delay which this court should never tolerate.” Si Estrada ay inakusahan na tumanggap ng P183 milyong kickback mula sa mga non-government organization ni Napoles. Sa mga NGO na ito umano napunta ang bahagi ng Priority Development Assistance Fund ni Estrada. Noong 2014 pa nakakulong si Estrada.
