Borlain sisters wagi sa Alaska Aquathlon

MAGKASABAY na tinawid ng magkapatid na sina Samantha at Tara Borlain ang finish line para pagwagian ang 2016 Alaska Aquathlon na ginanap kamakailan sa The Village Paranaque.

Dahil dito ay nagtabla sa unang puwesto ang magkapatid sa 13-14 female age category. Sinundan sila nina Everly Janarie Macalalad, at Jasmine Relf. Nagwagi naman sa male category si Joshua Alexander Ramos na sinundan nina Joe Bernard Sarmiento at Russel Mikolai Villaraza.

Ang 2016 Alaska IronKids ang itinuturing na pinakamalaki at pinakaaabangang multi-event race for boys and girls na may edad 6-14. Tampok dito ang 100-meter swim event sa isang Olympic size pool at nagtapos sa isang run event.

Naungusan ni Tara si Samantha sa naturang karera ngunit nagpasyang hintayin ang kanyang naghahabol na ate para sabay silang tumawid ng finish line. Sina Jaz Villanueva, Catherine Angeli Yu at Alison Ann Noble naman ang mga nanalo sa 11-12 female age group habang sina Clifford Pusing, Jojo Miguel Delizo at Matthew Thomas Atumbres naman ang nagsipagwagi sa male category.

Si Aubrey Tom ang kampeon sa 9-10 years old female habang si Michael Gabriel Lozada naman ang top finisher sa male category.
