Mga walang trabaho bumaba pero underemployment tumaas ngayong Enero
BUMABA ang mga walang trabaho ngayong Enero sa 5.8 porsiyento mula sa 6.6 porsiyento noong Enero 2015, bagamat tumaas naman ang underemployment sa 19.7 porsiyento mula sa dating 17.9 porsiyento, ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
Sinabi ng PSA na bagamat nabawasan ang mga walang trabaho, tumaas naman ang underemployment.
Base sa depinisyon ng PSA, ang underemployment ay “employed persons who express the desire to have additional hours of work in their present job, or to have additional job, or to have a new job with longer working hours.”
