Sa wakas, Leonardo DiCaprio waging Best Actor sa Oscars

MATAPOS ang maraming nominasyon sa pinaka prestihiyosong Oscars, nakapag-uwi na rin sa wakas sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon ng tropeo bilang pinakamahusay na aktor si Leonardo DiCaprio

Sa ginanap na 88th Academy awards sa Dolby Theatre sa Los Angeles, California si DiCaprio ang itinanghal na Best Actor para sa pelikulang “The Revenant”.

Tinalo ni DiCaprio sina Bryan Cranston, Matt Damon, Michael Fassbender, at Eddie Redmayne.

Ang 41-anyos na si DiCaprio ay nanalo na rin bilang Best Actor para sa nasabing pelikula sa mga nagdaang Golden Globe Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards at British Academy Film Awards.

Bago ang pagkapanalong ito, naging nominado rin siya sa nasabing Oscar award para sa mga pelikulang “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape,” “The Aviator,” “Blood Diamond,” at “The Wolf of Wall Street” subalit naging mailap sa kaniya ang tropeo.

Maliban sa nakuhang award ni DiCaprio nagwagi din bilang Best Director si Alejandro Inarritu para sa “The Revenant” at ang pelikula din ang nakakuha ng Best Cinemathography award.

Samantala, naiuwi naman ni Brie Larson ang tropeo para sa pinakamagaling na aktres sa lead role para sa pelikulang “Room.
