In fairness, kung may isang male celebrity ngayon na mahal na mahal ng LGBT community, ‘yan ay walang iba kundi ang Brazilian-Japanese model na si Fabio Ide, ang “leading man” ni Ken Chan sa transgender serye na Destiny Rose ng GMA 7.

Ayon sa mga tumututok sa Destiny Rose sa GMA Afternoon Prime, napakalaki ng improvement sa akting ni Fabio, hindi siya nagpapatalbog sa kanyang kalahi at kaibigang si Daniel Matsunaga na umaariba naman ang career sa ABS-CBN.

Nagpapasalamat nga ang Brapanese model-actor dahil nabigyan siya ng napakagandang proyekto ng Kapuso network para maipakita naman ang versatility niya as an actor lalo na sa pagdadrama.

Dumalaw kami kamakailan sa taping ng Destiny Rose somewhere in Quezon City at nakita namin kung gaano kaseryoso si Fabio sa kanyang acting career. Aniya, malaki rin ang pasasalamat niya sa mga co-actors niya sa serye bukod sa kanilang direktor na si Don Michael Perez, dahil gina-guide rin daw siya ng mga ito, lalo na sa mga intimate scenes nila ni Ken.

Samantala, inamin ni Fabio na nasaktan din siya para sa LGBT sa mga naging kontrobersyal na pahayag ni Manny Pacquiao tungkol sa same-sex marriage. “I’ll be honest with you, I have this big, big admiration for Manny Pacquiao as an athlete.

He’s the best in what he does and no doubt about that. Pero medyo upset ako with the way he said what he said. “I mean, I understood what he said, but the way he said it wasn’t in a nice way. I think that’s why the LGBT community was really upset, especially the animal thing,” ani Fabio.
