“It’s an honor and a great opportunity for us. We don’t run away from challenges. We’ll make sure that each year we’re going to be very competitive. I’m here and we’re not a hypocrite, we’re here to give Adamson a championship,” sabi ni Pumaren, na hinatid sa apat na diretsong kampeonato sa UAAP men’s basketball ang De La Salle University Green Archers mula 1998 hanggang 2001 bago nakuha ang huling titulo sa koponan noong 2007, sa press conference na ginanap sa CS Building ng Adamson University.
“With the full backing of the Adamson family and management I think we will be there always fighting for the school. so it’s gonna be an exciting Adamson team come next year,” sabi pa ni Pumaren.
“We are putting our full trust in Franz (Pumaren),” sabi Fr. Gregorio Bañaga Jr., CM, ang outgoing president ng Adamson University. “While we do not expect an instant transformation, we are optimistic that he and the coaching staff will build us back to become a highly competitive team in the coming seasons to live up to its name, the Soaring Falcons.”
