Honasan:Wala sa posisyon ang UNA na maipluwensiyahan ang Comelec kaugnay ng DQ vs Poe
IGINIIT ng United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) na wala ito sa posisyon na maimpluwensiyahan ang desisyon ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) matapos namang paboran nito ang petisyon na kumukuwestiyon sa citizenship at residency ni Sen. Grace Poe.
“UNA is not in any position nor is it inclined to influence the deliberations, decisions and rulings of constitutionally mandated institutions,” sabi ni Sen. Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan na siyang ka-tandem ni Vice President Jejomar Binay.
Nauna nang sinabi ni Poe na sina dating Interior secretary Mar Roxas at Binay ang nasa likod ng desisyon ng Comelec second division na nadidiskwalipika sa kanya sa pagtakbo sa 2016 dahil sa isyu ng citizenship at residency.
Tinawag din ni Honasan na malisyoso ang naging akusasyon ni Poe.
“The UNA party adopts this position from our continuing painful and unwarranted experience in malicious prosecution which we accept as a matter of partisan political reality on the eve of the coming May 2016 elections,” dagdag ni Honasan.
