Isa na nga riyan ang website ng BBC News, ang bbc.com na siyang public-service broadcaster ng United Kingdom (counterpart ng CNN sa US), kung saan tinagurian nitong global phenomenon ang loveteam nina Alden at Maine.

Ang writer na si Heather Chen ang sumulat ng artikulong “AlDub: A social media phenomenon about love and lip-synching,” kung saan inisa-isa ang dahilan kung bakit nagtagumpay ang AlDub loveteam at kung bakit naging global phenomenon ang kalyeserye.
