Comelec pinaplano ang pagsasagawa ng debate para sa mga lokal na kandidato
SINABI ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) na plano nitong magsagawa ng debate para sa mga kakandidato s a lokal na eleksyon sa 2016.
Ayon kay Comelec Chairman Andres Bautista, bukod sa planong debate para sa mga tatakbo sa pagkapangulo at pagkapresidente, balak ng poll body na magsasagawa ng debate sa mga tatakbo bilang governo at mayor.
“We want these debates to be replicated in the local level. We will be encouraging the local Comelec offices to hold similar debates on the provincial, city and municipal level,” sabi ni Bautista.
“Their attendance or absence in these debates will also give a message to the voters,” ayon pa kay Bautista.
