‘Malaswang’ billboard ni Vice Ganda sa Cebu pinatanggal

CEBU CITY– Iniutos ni Cebu City Administrator Lucelle Mercado ang pagtanggal ng billboard nagpo-promote ng Cebu concert ni Vice Ganda dahil sa ito umano ay malaswa o “sexually suggestive.”

Ayon kay Mercado, ginawa lang niya ang kanyang trabaho bilang chair ng Cebu City Anti-Indecency Board, matapos ang mga natanggap na reklamo hinggil sa billboard ni Vice Ganda na nakasuot ng pulang gown, blonde na wig, at napapaligiran ng mga maskuladong lalaki na walang damit pang-itaas.

“It’s sexually suggestive. The board hasn’t met yet about it but as chairman of CCAIB, I already took action. We don’t want to just wait since there are already a lot of people who’ve seen that,” ayon kay Mercado sa panayam nito sa Cebu Daily News.

Madali namang tinanggal ng local concert organizer a TSE Live Inc, alas-6 ng gabi nitong Lunes.

Sinabi nito na ang nasabing billboard ay ibinigay lamang sa kanila ng ABS-CBN, ang home network ni Vice Ganda.

“The Cebu leg of the concert is part of a series. TSE Live was only staying in line with its format. TSE Live accepts the Mayor’s call to change the material and is in the process of doing so,” ayon sa organizers sa kalatas na ipinadala sa CDN.

Sa Linggo ipapalabas ang concert sa Pacific Grand Ballroom ng Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
