Luis sa Fallen 44: Nakakalungkot lang, tayu-tayo nagpapatayan!
When Luis Manzano was launched as Puregold Perks Card endorser, hindi niya nakalimutang magbigay ng konting panalangin kasama ang press para sa 44 fallen SAF heroes na namatay sa labanan sa Maguindanao.
Later, he said his piece about the issue, “When they asked to protect, for any assignment hindi na nila tinatanong kung ano ‘yung pupuntahan natin, mga Muslim ba ‘yan, mga Kristiyano ba ‘yan.
So it’s very disappointing, very saddening na tayo-tayo ang nagkakapatayan where in fact lahat naman tayo Pilipino. Hopefully, justice is served, kung sino ang dapat managot, if there’s investigation or kung anuman para hindi masayang ang pinaghirapan ng 44 fallen heroes na ‘yan.”
Luis shared that Purefold has been very supportive of him since the day he hosted their events. In fact, meron siyang inilalambina na isang charity project yata na kasama niya si Angel Locsin.
“‘Yung nilalakad ko with Angel, I know for a fact na it’s a yes, it’s just a matter of formality. They promised me before na if there is an activity they will be there for me.
I haven’t asked for their help pero I’m sure na isang tawag, isang text lang, isang lambing lang the Puregold family will heed my call,” ani Luis.
