Mocha ipinagtanggol apo ni Du30 sa kontrobersyal na photo shoot sa Malacanang

DINIPENSAHAN ni Assistant Communications Secretary Mocha Uson ang apo ni Pangulong Duterte na si Isabelle Duterte matapos itong kuyugin ng mga netizens dahil sa kanyang predebut photo shoot sa loob ng Malacanang.

Ayon kay Mocha, wala siyang nakikitang masama sa ginawa ng dalaga, lalo pa’t walang ginastos na pondo ng pamahalaan sa ginagawang pictorial.

“First of all, were any public funds spent because his granddaughter had her picture taken in Malacañang? If there was none, it is not wrong for the President’s granddaughter to have her picture taken there. What is wrong is to use the government’s helicopter and spend for personal campaigning,” hirit ni Mocha sa kanyang Facebook post.

Kinontra rin ni Mocha ang obserbasyon ng marami na ang ginawang pictorial sa Palasyo at sa mga garbong damit na isinuot ni Isabelle ay taliwas sa mga sinasabi ng pangulo na namumuhay lang siya ng simple.

Katwiran ni Mocha, na maraming mga Pinoy, mayaman o mahirap man, ay ginagastusan ng mga magulang ang debut ng kanilang mga anak.

Si Isabelle ay panganay na anak ni Davao City Vice Mayor  Paolo Duterte.

Isa pa, hirit ni Mocha, na isang pribilehiyo ng first family na gamitin ang Malacanang.

“This is the grandchild of the President. Let us give her some understanding. She is just proud and excited because her grandfather is the president,” ani Mocha.

Isa sa mga binatikos ng netizen ay ang pagpapa-picture ni Isabelle sa harap ng mahalagang simbulo ng pamahalaan o yung tinatawag na national coat of arms.

Anila, sa ilalim ng Executive Order No. 310 s. 2004 ng Philippine Constitution, ipinagbabawal ang paggamit ng nasabing simbolo.

“Except as otherwise provided by law or Presidential issuance, the Coat-of-Arms, Seal, and Flag of the President of the Philippines or of the Vice President of the Philippines shall be exclusively used to represent the President of the Philippines or the Vice President of the Philippines, respectively.”
