Ang mister ko ay matagal ng OFW sa Saudi Arabia at miyembro ng OWWA (Overseas Workers Welfare Administration) pero dahil lumalaki ang aming mga anak at malapit nang magkolehiyo, gusto ko sanang malaman sa OWWA kung anong tulong ang pwede nilang maibigay sa akin dahil gusto ko na rin na matulungan ang mister ko sa pamamagitan ng pagnenegosyo. REPLY: Para sa iyong katanungan Mrs. Natividad, sa ngayon ang Overseas Workers Welfare Administration o OWWA ay may dalawang programa sa ilalim ng reintegration program para sa mga nagnanais na magtayo ng kanilang negosyo.
Ang una ay maaaring mabigyan ng negosyo o ang tinatawag na ‘grant ‘sa mga misis o mister ng OFW na gustong magnegosyo kahit sa maliit na negosyo na gustong itayo.
Ang pondo na ipinagkakaloob ay depende sa business na gustong itayo ngunit mayroon lamang na P20,000 na maximum na maaaring ipagkaloob .
Habang ang isang programa ay tinatawag na special loan program.
Ang loan program na ito ay in partnership with Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) at Land Bank of the Philippines (LandBank).
Maaaring makapag-loan ng P300,000 hanggang P2,000,000.
Sa may net monthly income of at least P10,000.
Loan amount: P300,000- to P2,000,000.-
Interest rate: 7.5% annually
Payments: monthly/quarterly/annually depending on the project cash flow

Eligibility requirements:
Active member of the OWWA;
Have completed the Entrepreneurial Development Training (EDT) conducted by NRCO and OWWA ORWs in cooperation with the Department of Trade and Industry / Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) / Bureau of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development (BSMED).
Provide 20% equity
Project must generate net income of at least P10,000 for the OFW
