NAGPALABAS si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ng kautusan kung saan ipinagbabawal niyang tawagin siya na “His Excellency.”
Sa Memorandum na ipinalabas ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, sinabi niya na Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte lamang ang dapat itawag sa presidente sa mga opisyal na pagpapakilala at mga sulat.
“The President shall be addressed in all Communications, events or materials as President Rodrigo Roa Duterte only and without the term His Excellency,” sabi sa memorandum.
Kasabay nito, pinaaalis din ng Palasyo ang “Honorable” sa mga miyembro ng Gabinete.
“All members of the Cabinet shall be addressed in all official communications submitted to Office od the President as Secretary only, and without the term Honorable,” ayon pa kay Medialdea.
